Damien’s work in Geelong and western Victoria over several decades has culminated in Landserv now operating Geelong’s largest and most experienced group of contaminated land scientists and engineers – with knowledge of our region second to none.

Damien’s professional experience includes contaminated land and groundwater investigations, site remediation, landfill monitoring, risk assessment, environmental management plans and systems, environmental impact assessments and land use capability assessments. Damien has applied his experience to industrial land redevelopment projects, ports, coastal and marine environments, Defence facilities, industrial and petroleum facilities, landfills and greenfield developments. He is a Certified Environmental Professional (CEnvP), Exemplar Global certified Auditor (EMS) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Damien is an active contributor to local business and community groups, including the Geelong Business Club, UDIA’s Geelong Sub-committee, the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, G21, Geelong Community Foundation, Geelong Sustainability and the Geelong Classic Car Club.

Ryan Edwards

Ryan is a Principal Environmental Scientist and Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) with over 15 years professional experience as an environmental professional. Ryan has been with Landserv for over 10 years and leads the Melbourne team. He has worked on and managed many projects including large scale statutory environmental audits to smaller complex soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects....

His experience ranges from providing evidence as an Expert Witness for various high profile hearings, managing multidisciplinary environmental investigations, environmental due diligence, phase 1 & 2 environmental site assessments, remediation, data analysis and interpretation, as well as liaising with and managing clients, contractors and auditors.

Ryan is also responsible for technical reviews and the collation and dissemination of advice across a range of site assessment and remediation programs on petrochemical, industrial, landfill and agricultural sites.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys time spent in the outdoors with his family, including camping, fishing and gardening.

Andrew is a Principal Environmental Scientist with 15+ years’ experience as an environmental consultant and analytical chemist, with expertise in environmental management, environmental assessment and project management. He has extensive experience designing and delivering field programs, specifically environmental drilling, well installation monitoring, sampling, data collection and walk over site assessments.

Andrew specialises in Project Management, report writing, data analysis and interpretation, liaising with and managing contractors and Auditors, business development and undertaking detailed environmental site assessments.

He has experience in Wet and Dry Commissioning of water treatment plants, Soil and Groundwater assessments including sampling and data collection, groundwater well installation and monitoring, liaising with and managing/supervising subcontractors, analysis and interpretation of field data, desktop research and, classification and management of soils for reuse and/or offsite disposal.

In his spare time, Tom plays cricket in summer, footy in winter and surfs in all seasons.

Sarah has an extensive background in Administrative, Project Management, Business Management and Operations Management roles across New Zealand, England, the United States and Australia in both the public and private sectors. This is complemented by her qualifications in business and project management.

Sarah loves the beach in any weather and likes to spend her spare time surrounded by friends and family enjoying a good meal and a great glass of wine.
