Damien is Landserv’s Managing Director and an Environmental Scientist / Geologist with over thirty years of experience managing environmental consulting groups and overseeing a broad range of environmental projects. Prior to joining Landserv in 2007, he established and grew a Victorian Environmental Services work group and a Petroleum Services work group for a global engineering firm. ...

Damien’s work in Geelong and western Victoria over several decades has culminated in Landserv now operating Geelong’s largest and most experienced group of contaminated land scientists and engineers – with knowledge of our region second to none.

Damien’s professional experience includes contaminated land and groundwater investigations, site remediation, landfill monitoring, risk assessment, environmental management plans and systems, environmental impact assessments and land use capability assessments. Damien has applied his experience to industrial land redevelopment projects, ports, coastal and marine environments, Defence facilities, industrial and petroleum facilities, landfills and greenfield developments. He is a Certified Environmental Professional (CEnvP), Exemplar Global certified Auditor (EMS) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Damien is an active contributor to local business and community groups, including the Geelong Business Club, UDIA’s Geelong Sub-committee, the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, G21, Geelong Community Foundation, Geelong Sustainability and the Geelong Classic Car Club.

Mo Daud

CEnvP, BEng (Geo)

Mo is Landserv’s Technical Director/Principal Environmental Engineer and a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP), with over 30 years of technical delivery, project/program management and general management experience across Australia. Mo has diverse experience in site characterisation and remediation projects for various industry sectors such as chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, manufacturing, mining, property, power and transport, and local, state and federal governments (incl. Defence)....

One of his technical specialties is in the area of in-situ remediation. He has hands-on experience in delivering various in-situ soil and groundwater remediation systems – from pilot trials, systems design, systems installation, systems operation and maintenance and systems closure.

Mo also has expertise in landfill and waste management, assessing transport pathways and human health/environmental risk. He has been involved with many community consultation projects relating to contaminated site issues. Additional experience includes statutory audits (technical support), investment or property transaction due diligence, facility environmental audit, environmental management system, hazardous materials and property risk.

He enjoys country drives, coastal walks or just riding his electric bike on Melbourne bike trails in his spare time.

Ryan Edwards

CEnvP, BEnvSc

Ryan is a Principal Environmental Scientist and Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) with over 15 years professional experience as an environmental professional. Ryan has been with Landserv for over 10 years and leads the Melbourne team. He has worked on and managed many projects including large scale statutory environmental audits to smaller complex soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects....

His experience ranges from providing evidence as an Expert Witness for various high profile hearings, managing multidisciplinary environmental investigations, environmental due diligence, phase 1 & 2 environmental site assessments, remediation, data analysis and interpretation, as well as liaising with and managing clients, contractors and auditors.

Ryan is also responsible for technical reviews and the collation and dissemination of advice across a range of site assessment and remediation programs on petrochemical, industrial, landfill and agricultural sites.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys time spent in the outdoors with his family, including camping, fishing and gardening.

Andrew Wigley

Andrew is a Principal Environmental Scientist with 15+ years’ experience as an environmental consultant and analytical chemist, with expertise in environmental management, environmental assessment and project management. Andrew has delivered projects ranging from large scale statutory environmental audits, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects, site suitability and landfill gas risk assessment projects....

He has extensive experience designing and delivering field programs, specifically environmental drilling, well installation monitoring, sampling, data collection and walk over site assessments.

Andrew specialises in Project Management, report writing, data analysis and interpretation, liaising with and managing contractors and Auditors, business development and undertaking detailed environmental site assessments.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys attending the footy and spending time with his family.

Lachlan is a senior environmental scientist with over 4 years’ experience professional experience in implementing contaminated land and groundwater assessments throughout Australia. Lachlan has worked across industries including petrochemical, mining, local and federal government (i.e., Defence) to deliver large scale multi-disciplinary environmental projects including the assessment of soils, groundwater, and landfill gas....

Sarah has an extensive background in Administrative, Project Management, Business Management and Operations Management roles across New Zealand, England, the United States and Australia in both the public and private sectors. This is complemented by her qualifications in business and project management.

Sarah loves the beach in any weather and likes to spend her spare time surrounded by friends and family enjoying a good meal and a great glass of wine.
