Environmental site assessments and remediation for sites intended for Kindergartens and Early Learning & Childcare Centres.

Landserv has conducted extensive environmental assessments for numerous proposed development sites intended for Kindergartens and Early Learning and Childcare Centres. These assessments focused on identifying potential contamination risks, evaluating site suitability for sensitive land use, and, where necessary, outlining remediation and management strategies to support future construction.

In many instances, Landserv coordinated a multidisciplinary team to deliver an integrated site assessment. This collaborative approach incorporated expertise in ecological consulting, land surveying, cultural heritage, planning, engineering, and geotechnical analysis.

Contaminated land assessments with comprehensive soil and groundwater investigations were carried out to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support development planning. These investigations involved multiple stages to confirm site suitability and identify contamination risks linked to historical land use.  A contaminated land assessment generally includes a soil hygienist assessment and soil contamination assessment.

Where remediation was required, Landserv developed comprehensive plans and oversaw the execution of remediation measures to mitigate risks to human health and the environment from residual contaminated soil during construction activities for the proposed development.

Benefits:

  • Delivered a clear environmental risk profile for planning and construction
  • Confirmed soil suitability for sensitive land use
  • Supported compliance with EPA regulations
  • Enabled informed decision making for construction and long term site management
