In the last few months, Landserv has been conducting an extensive environmental site assessment for a former effluent treatment facility site that belongs to a local water authority in western Victoria. The scope of works involved conducting a detailed desktop review, completing a thorough site inspection, targeted soil sampling, and providing conclusions and recommendations to the client based on the results of the assessment. The project was delivered on time and on budget; and some of the highlights included the hours spent sifting through historical records to extract useful information regarding treatment processes previously conducted on the site, in order to gain a thorough understanding of potential contaminants of concern.
