Environmental Scientists Brendan McDermott and Samantha Walsh attended the ACLCAs training Module on Remediation and Management. The Module provided the participants with a broad understanding of the available remedial approaches when dealing with contaminated soil and groundwater from a range of different sources. What is and isn’t currently accepted by the EPA as appropriate remediation was also discussed. The Module was presented by Raghava Dasika (URS) and Lyle Carpenter (Coffey) who both provided valuable insight into the industry, changes that have come about over the years and future technologies. The ACLCA runs many training modules, industry seminars and meetings throughout the year, of which Landserv becomes actively involved with. The next event is a seminar on Ravenhall Prison which is to be held next Monday night.
