CRC Care held the 6th international Site Remediation Conference on 13-16 September at the Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne. Two members of the Landserv team – Sam and Brendan – attended the conference alongside presenters and delegates from over 20 countries.
The conference provided a forum to discuss all aspects of contaminated site assessment, management and remediation; in addition to a trade show exhibiting many of these new technologies and services. Sustainability was a common theme throughout the presentations; ranging from landfill biodegradable field products to remediation of brownfield sites as a means of reducing sprawl. It was a great insight into contaminated land practices and new technologies from around the globe.
