The rapid evolution of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak continues to be a challenge for everyone. The health and safety of employees, our clients and communities is our highest priority.
We remain open, working and dedicated to delivering on our commitments to our clients during this difficult time.
Landserv is continuing to service our field work projects across Victoria based on the advice provided by DHHS on permitted industries and those able to operate for on-site work. Outside our sampling programs, our staff continue to work from home.
Our work falls under the provision of Professional, Scientific and Technical services where our work supports hazard monitoring for human health and pre-construction activities and/or the provision of services necessary to meet environmental obligations on a closed work site. We have the required Permitted Worker Permits available for any staff needing to travel within the Stage 4 restricted areas.
We have confirmed that those based in Melbourne are able to continue their work in regional areas of Victoria for permitted reasons. We also have Geelong based field crews available including drillers and underground service location contractors that are currently able to work outside Stage 4 restrictions while maintaining appropriate COVID safe requirements. Our couriers are also Geelong-based and our Melbourne-based laboratories are permitted to continue operating under Stage 4 restrictions.
Our Covid-19 safe plans are being updated regularly, including the introduction of temperature checking. We continue to monitor the advice provided by the Chief Medical Officer, Victorian State Govt and the Federal Govt and will provide updates should any further restrictions limit our work or impact timeframes for delivery.
It’s not quite business as usual but we are able to service all of our projects.
