Damien Chappell was re-appointed in October 2012 by the Minister for Ports to Audit Port Safety and Environmental Management Plans under the Port Management Act 1995.
In that capacity, Landserv was then appointed in January by Department of Transport to complete the 2013 audits of Port Safety and Environmental Management Plans (SEMPs) for Victorias South West Ports, and has also been appointed by Parks Victoria to audit the SEMPs for the Local Ports of Port Phillip Bay and Western Port.
These exciting projects will draw on our experience carrying out similar audits during 2008. A challenging program of audits will be carried out by teams of auditors led by Damien Chappell and will include the local ports of:
- Port Phillip Bay;
- Western Port;
- Barwon Heads;
- Lorne;
- Apollo Bay;
- Port Campbell;
- Warrnambool;
- Port Fairy; and
- Portland Bay
