One of the most anticipated environmental events this month – especially for local councils and other government organisations – will be the MAV Environment Conference hosted by the Municipal Association of Victoria on 12-13 July at Melbourne Park Function Centre. The theme of the conference will be “Living and Leading in a Warming World”, and it aims to “provide delegates with the latest insights on the science, impacts and politics of climate change; highlight opportunities and innovations for positive environmental outcomes; and share examples of how councils and others are successfully positioning themselves to survive and thrive in a warming world.” The program is jam-packed with presentations from a number of respected experts in the field, and it is expected to receive over 110 delegates from most councils in Victoria – including mayors, councillors, CEOs, council senior management and other staff from areas including environment, planning, transport, waste, infrastructure and social services.

Our staff will be stationed in the Skyline room at the Melbourne Park Function Centre over the two days, to meet and greet with both existing and potential clients and promote our services.
