Landserv was recently engaged by a Victorian Government Department to assess and remediate a former government school, the initial investigation identified polycyclic aromatic hydrocardbons (PAH) exceeding relevant environmental guidelines.

Landserv conducted in-situ soil sampling at 86 test pits across the site in an approximate grid pattern to assist in the delineation of the identified contaminant.

Following a review of the results, an excavation and remediation program was established to manage and contain the identified contaminants at the site.

The objective of the remediation works is to ensure the site will be suitable for sensitive land-use.
