Community Contributions at Landserv

For the fifth consecutive year, Landserv has proudly contributed to the Landserv Fund within the Geelong Community Foundation, reinforcing our commitment to supporting local initiatives that make a tangible difference. The Foundation plays a vital role in addressing community needs, and in FY25, it approved 64 grants totalling $1.776 million—representing approximately 5% of its corpus under management. These grants funded projects across education, health, social welfare, and environmental sustainability, directly benefiting thousands of individuals and families in the Geelong region.

Looking ahead, FY2026 has already seen an increase in demand, with 73 applications currently under review. This growth highlights both the pressing needs within the community and the importance of sustained corporate and individual contributions to keep these programs thriving.

Beyond our work with the Foundation, Landserv continues to support Lazarus House, a community centre in Geelong dedicated to assisting people experiencing homelessness. As one of 100 businesses donating $100 per month, we help provide essential services such as meals, showers, medical assistance, and a safe space for companionship—critical resources that restore dignity and hope.

In addition to local efforts, we extended our reach globally by making a one-off donation to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal, coordinated by Rotary Australia World Community Service. This initiative addresses urgent humanitarian needs as millions face a harsh winter following the destruction of 80% of Ukraine’s thermal power plants. The Appeal runs 12 programs focused on humanitarian aid, medical support, and housing solutions, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive life-saving assistance during this crisis (learn more here).
